Remember that M&M commerical with the father and son watching the sun go down while eating M&M's? The dad is saying, "going...going... gone!" and the boy says in a whisper, "do it again daddy!" I think of that often as I watch the sun set. As I walk I watch it sink into the city through the bushes and between the houses. Trees mask a few of the moments but I keep glancing over my shoulder looking for that beauty that reminds me of all that is wonderful and gorgeous.
Then it's gone, melted into no where, I keep looking although I know it is gone. But it was there and it was so beautiful when it was. Watching something SO big, SO bright and SO colorful move slowly and yet it slips away so quickly.
