Humid
Walking Mileage: 3.32
October Miles Walked: 9.49
Temperature upon departure: 75
Humidity: 100%
No I'm not kidding- 100% humidity! It was raining when we started our walk, which was a first for all of us. I hate to sweat, I'm not sure why but I think it is because as a kid in Alaska you rarely sweat when it is 0* outside not matter how hard you are playing. Sweating is foreign to me, for most of my life it signals STOP! Your melting! Living here in the south now for 651 days, sweating is pretty normal for me. I sweat getting into my car in the mornings, I sweat sitting doing nothing on my back porch, I sweat as soon as I get out of the shower, I am drenched mowing the lawn- sweat pours off of me when I ride my bike, I am sticky all over when I walk each night with the dogs. I am careful to not drench myself or over heat the dogs. Blue hates the rain, he usually acts like it is burning him alive. He jumps around trying to get away from it. But I think he is getting used to it, and doesn't want to give up a walk because of a little rain. Just like I don't because of the sweating, or my glasses fogging up.
This weekend it is only supposed to get to a high of 70*- THANK GOD. Fall is finally here!
