Special Guest

Mom has been pretty busy lately so I'm taking a stab at this whole blogging thing while she naps. I'm Petey- since I'm pretty much the star of this blog you all know me. Blue can't type and he doesn't understand online so he's out catching bugs while I work on my writing skills.


This was a super nice weekend. Mom and dad slept in really late yesterday and today, those are my favorite mornings cause they let me get up in the bed with them and snuggle and fall back to sleep. I really love them- the parents, but I REALLY love the bed! It makes me feel so special!

Last night mom cooked on the BBQ out back, it smelled delicious! It was some pork ribs and corn on the cob- Blue and I got the scraps! What a great day!
Today we were busy after mom and dad slept in. They made breakfast that I got to get a few crumbs from. Then mom took Blue and I to the shopping area. It has so many cars and people so I walk behind and hopefully Blue will shield me if we get hit! We both had our backpacks on and it was sunny but windy so it was comfortable. Mom made us wait outside the big orange place first, the one with all the plants and flowers that people take. Mom tied us up next to our neighbor The Black Great Dane. I don't know his name, I think he is more retarded than Blue is- he doesn't talk! I laid in the pine straw and soaked in the sunshine while Blue and The Black Great Dane just stared at each other and drooled- mongrels. Then we went to the PetSmart and mom got something called a toothbrush- that turned out to be not so fun once we got home!

Then we went up the hill and across the street to the grocery store. Mom was inside forever! Then blue and I got to carry the groceries home, people love to see us wear our packs and carry things in them. I'm like an athlete superstar, everyone wants to talk to us. I'm very special and famous like that, everyone wants to know me.

After we got home and mom and dad did stuff around the house, we went for ANOTHER walk! I tell ya, I am the luckiest dog in the world! Mom took us to through my old neighborhood where I lived before I got her. We walked through Peidmont Park with all the people and then to the dog park. I humped a lot of dogs. It was a great day!
I look like a SUPERHERO!!! Blue looks wise!!! hahaha!
This was kind of fun! Maybe I'll do it again sometime! Peace out! ....Petey
