We made it last week, it was a loooong drive and we only had one tire incident. I've been so preoccupied with the entire move and the drive, and the new town. Not to mention finding a new house in a town I've never even visited- it's been pretty busy in our lives lately. I still don't know which way is north, but we are in a house that we rented that I really like a lot. It has been a long couple of weeks, I feel like I have been isolated form the
Internet and my blog world! I miss you guys! We are still busy getting settled in, but I wanted to say hi and show a few pics of where we are.... sorry they are in random order, I feel guilty when I'm not unpacking so I'm being really quick here!

Petey was in the lap of luxury in our MicroTel room where we stayed the first week. They both loved being able to be on the bed all the time. We had maid service which was nice, but the room was SO TINY (that's why it's the MICROtel) that we always made them get on the bed just so we could squeeze around!

This is pretty much it for the room, what you see here is what you get. Oh, and the little bathroom. Not fancy, but super cheap at $49.95 a night and $25 (total for the stay) for the dogs. They said we had just missed the dog show by one day when we checked in. They said every room had a dog in it!

I hated the room, but it worked, and luckily it had this great field/emtpy lot behind it which was great for potty time and general expoloring for the boys.

We looked at a bunch of places when we first got here trying to find something to rent that:
1. allowed dogs
2. had a yard
3. had a basement for Matt's rock n'roll band
4. had a kitchen with a dishwasher and appliances that worked
5. had room for guests to stay with us
6. was close to a school for me
7. was close to Matt's work

Really, is that too much to ask?? We got everything but the yard and the rock n'roll band is still a little ify. The neighbors have babies, but the parents seem really cool. My fingers are crossed that the dad is a wannabe rocker that plays the guitar or something!
This is the great park that is right down the street from our place! It's only about a 1/4 mile from our front door. It is really pretty and I am told it has a lot of activity in the warmer months...

It really is as quiet here as this picture looks!
