Winter Time Is Coming..in the City

Walking Mileage: 3.05
November Miles Walked: 11.62
Temperature upon departure: 52*
Humidity: 90% ??? (I don't understand why it's such high humidity, there is no chance of rain).

The soccer field was empty, this is the first Thursday with no kids. I have come to expect a sea of kids on this part of our walk each day. Kids aren't a desire for me in my life, everyone that knows me knows I don't particularly enjoy them. Most are so weird, some a creepy, a few are cute and I've met a couple that were pretty cool. But the majority are just weird and too hyper for me. I used to think I didn't like routine much, but I settle into a routine so easily, I'm comfortable in a routine, like a cozy (wool) sweater. The soccer kids were part of my routine for the last several months. I even began to enjoy retrieving the soccer balls once in awhile (note: only two ever said THANK YOU). I think my boys enjoyed the energy of passing the field each day, it just was part of our walks.

Everyone has the heavy coats on and are dressing like it's 10*, I forgot my favorite sweatshirt at work tonight so I threw on a fleece. As I passed people in down jackets and long wool coats, I was almost sweating in my fleece and jeans. Seeing down coats for some reason made me anticipate snow this evening, although I know that isn't happening. The flowers in their bright winter colors remind me that this isn't Alaska, there is no possible hard frost or insulating snow.
