Talking Bike Racks

Matt and I have tickets to see David Byrnes at Chastain Park on Sept 20th. I really enjoy his new stuff and the Talking Heads, and am guessing after reading his site and blog that it should be a rather unique show! Because he is a cyclist and has done so much advocating safe cycling we are planning to ride our bikes to the show. Luckily the show is on a Saturday and will be over at 11:00pm because it's a rather ambitious ride. It is only a direct 8 miles each way but it is probably one of the most UN-friendly bike routes which means we will probably add at least another 5 miles to each route. More on that in the future...

By the way...don't you TOTALLY want one of his grand bike racks in your town?! I do!

I love it! Something like that here in Atlanta could be just as much fun as the cows/turtles. Far more useful, too.

I would definitely do a bicycle tour around town with the family to visit sites. It might take several trips, given the age/size of two of our riders, but planning out segments, and snack stops on the way could be part of the fun.
